Runner Up Finish for Cypress Men's Golf at Steele Canyon

JAMUL, CA - Cypress men's golf finished second at Steele Canyon Golf Course. 

In a competitive match at Steele Canyon on Wednesday, April 10, the Cypress men's golf team delivered a solid performance, finishing in second place with a total score of 380. Cuyamaca took the top spot with a score of 372, while Orange Coast finished third with 391. Saddleback and El Camino rounded out the field with scores of 396 and 424, respectively.

Individually, Berkecem Renda led the way for Cypress with an impressive score of 72, showcasing his skill and consistency on the course. Following closely behind were Vincent Quintero and Alex Mascaro, who carded scores of 75 and 74, contributing significantly to Cypress' strong showing. Will Oates posted a score of 79, while Basil Strolz and Grant Muhlenbruch each finished with scores of 80, ensuring a competitive team performance overall.

Despite the close competition, Cypress' golfers demonstrated their talent and determination, securing a commendable second-place finish. In the OEC Coastal Division standings, Cypress leads the way with 25 wins and 4 losses.
