Cypress Athletics is taking a step in continuing the conversation about social injustice through the voices of you the student athletes, faculty, administration, and community members of Cypress College to insure that everyone feels supported, heard, and seen. "Chargers for Change" is a program that will allow the entire Chargers community to speak, listen, learn, and reflect about social injustices that impact their daily lives and those around them. Chargers for Change is to contribute and participate in the movement of anti-racism. The purpose is to shine light on the voices of our Cypress Athletics community while spreading awareness of the department's stand with anti-racism.
Statements from the Chargers Athletics Community will be shared on all social media platforms, @CypressChargers. A series of questions will be offered in which the Cypress community can speak on. Their answers, opinions, and feelings can be viewed below.
