COSTA MESA, Calif. --- The Lady Chargers were able to defeat the Orange Coast Pirates in four sets last night by scores of 25-20, 21-25, 25-21, 25-18.
The victory put Cypress at (16-7) overall for the season and also put them at (10-4) in conference play. The Chargers also ended up tying for second with Golden West in the OEC, both following behind the undefeated Lasers from Irvine Valley.
Mya Shannon led Cypress in kills with 16, while Kiki Atuatasi followed right behind her with 14 of her own.
Ani Green added 11 kills for Cypress and Damillia Foster hit double digits with 10.
Allyson Dekruyf had a team high 52 assists while Holly Webster led the team in digs (12).
The Chargers now wait to see what seed they will receive for the post season. The first round of the So Cal Regionals starts on November 26.
