Women's Tennis

Ben Cook enters his first season as Head Coach of Cypress Women's Tennis. Cook has over 10 years of coaching experience at all levels and was recently on staff with Division I, UC Irvine Athletics Women's Tennis. At UCI, Cook and the coaching staff led the team to an 11-9 record that was marked as the program's first winning season since 2019. In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Cook is a Junior Director at the University of Southern California for the Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps. 

 

In 2022, Ben assisted the Men's & Women's tennis programs at CalTech. He helped the women's program land in the top 20 Division III National Rankings, and is the highest in program history to date. 

 

Cook was also on the coaching staff at Division II, Fresno Pacific University during the 2022 season. At Fresno Pacific, he achieved an ITA Community Service Award and finished the season with a 14-5 record.

 

At the high school level, Cook has helped secure two CIF Titles in Girls Tennis and five-straight CIF Titles with Boys Tennis across three divisions. He was the Head Coach of the Girls Tennis Program at Mater Dei High School and won back-to-back Trinity League Titles.
