Katey Kanamoto returns for her second season at Cypress College. Katey is a graduate from Cerritos High School where she was a freshman honorable mention and a first team All Suburban League player her Junior and Senior seasons. Kanamoto was also named to the Long Beach Press-Telegram Dream Team. Her parents are Brian and Kelly Kanamoto. Katey also has one sister named Kristy. Her favorite memory as a player was when she won a game for her high school team by hitting a three pointer in the last second.
Katey's favorite hobby is playing the piano, her favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy and her favorite athlete is Chris Paul. Katey also cheers for the Los Angeles Clippers.
