Lauren Hong is a recent 2012-13 high school graduate from St. Joseph High School in Lakewood, Calif. Hong was the MVP of her Varsity team during her senior year as well as a first team All Camino Real League player. Hong was also a part of the Long Beach Press-Telegram Team in 2013 and was named to the all CIF team during her senior year at St. Joseph High School. Her parents are Michael and Susan Hong and she has one brother (Daniel) and one sister (Katherine). Lauren's greatest memory as a player was when she led her team in the CIF finals for the first time in 36 years.
Lauren's hobbies include reading & spending time with friends and family. Her favorite movie is "Something Borrowed", her favorite TV show is One Tree Hill and her Favorite Athlete is Rajon Rondo. Lauren also cheers for the Boston Celtics.
Lauren's goal after school is to go to a four year college, play basketball and eventually earn her doctorate in Physical Therapy.
