Mike Magee Earns Charger of the Week (Dec. 4-10)
Freshman men’s basketball standout Mike Magee was awarded his first Charger of the Week during practice after a stretch of outstanding performances during the 3rd Annual Don Johnson Classic (Dec. 4-10).
Freshman men's basketball standout Mike Magee was awarded his first Charger of the Week during practice after a stretch of outstanding performances during the 3rd Annual Don Johnson Classic (Dec. 4-10). 
Magee helped lead the Chargers to a Don Johnson Classic Tournament Championship, where Cypress defeated Rio Hondo (70-62) and Moorpark (70-56), before knocking off Glendale (68-60) in the championship game.
The Cabrillo High School alumnus averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds, while shooting 54% from the floor during the three-game stretch, earning him the Tournament MVP Award. He currently leads the 4-6 Chargers in points, rebounds, and steals per game this season.
