Bio

Carlos Gonzales enters his ninth season as an assistant coach at Cypress College. Gonzales works with the pitchers and assists with the day-to-day operations. His duties also include opponent scouting and assisting with recruiting. Carlos is also the Men’s Equipment Manager on campus.

Carlos managed a collegiate summer ball team out of Cypress during his previous summers. The Orange County Pirates had tremendous success in the previous five years under Gonzales’ leadership. Aside from being successful on the field, Carlos has assisted many of his student athletes with college placement at the four-year level.  

A native of Lompoc, CA. Gonzales came to Cypress in the fall of 2017.
