The Long Beach City College men's basketball fell to the Cypress College Chargers 78-73 on Wednesday evening in the Hall of Champions. With the loss, the Vikings drop to 3-2 overall.
The Vikings outshot the Chargers in the first half 36-29, but then dropped the second half 37-49.
Sophomore guard Jace Bass put in work as he led the team with 37 points and had three steals. Sophomore guard Kester Ofoegbu held down the Vikings' defense with 12 rebounds and while totaling 16 points for the Vikings against the Chargers.
The Vikings will return to the court on Thursday, Dec. 5 against LA Valley in the West LA Shootout Tournament at 7:00 p.m.
