CYPRESS, CA – Cypress College Baseball continues to shine this season, improving to a 3-1 record after a decisive 8-2 victory over Moorpark College. Leading the charge was infielder Justin Tillar, whose explosive performance has earned him the title of Charger of the Week.
Tillar wasted no time making an impact, smashing a grand slam in his first at-bat in the top of the first inning. His clutch hit brought Evan Rolbiecki, Dustin Robinson, and Ty Peters home, giving the Chargers a commanding 4-0 lead right out of the gate.
UP NEXT: The Chargers will look to continue their momentum when they play at home against Merced College on Friday, February 7 at 1pm.
