Women's Water Polo, Jillian Van Gemert Earns Charger of the Week
CYPRESS, CA - Cypress Women's Water Polo, Jillian Van Gemert has been named Charger of the Week for her clutch performance in the Mt. SAC tournament against Cuesta College and Mt. San Antonio College.
Van Gemert was the leading scorer in both games putting up a total of 11 goals, 4 assists, and 3 steals. She helped lead the Chargers to victory against Mt. SAC 12-8 and held off Cuesta College to get by 13-12.
As the team gears up for their next match on the road against Fullerton October 2nd, Van Gemert looks to continue the momentum hoping to bring the Chargers to their first conference win.
