Cypress, Calif. -- The Chargers wrapped up their 2013 Orange Empire Conference schedule with a big win over visiting Santa Ana, 9-2. 

Cypress had one goal in the first period and then added three in the second to go into the half on a 4-1 advantage. They then and came out with a strong third quarter which produced another four goals to put the Chargers up 8-1. Both teams added one goal each in the fourth quarter for a final score of 9-2.

For the Chargers, Markee Budd was the leading scorer with three goals. Budd also added two steals. Sadie Bryan came away with two goals and two assists and Jennifer Perciado scored one goal and had four steals. 

To end the regular season the Chargers will co-host the "Battle of the Beach" along with Long Beach City College this weekend, Oct. 25-26.
