Cypress, CA - The Chargers came away from the 16th annual Cypress Charger Invitational on Saturday with an impressive 13-3 win over fellow Orange Empire Conference member Santa Ana College. The win was a breakthrough for Cypress who on Friday dropped two straight games to Sierra College and Long Beach City College.

The Chargers high scorer was Jennifer Preciado and high stealer was Taylor Leach. Goalie Hailey Church shut the Dons out of the goalbox with 15 saves. Aimee Espey won three out of the four sprints. 

The Chargers season record is now 1-2 and they will next be in action on the road Wednesday September 18th at 3:00pm against Golden West.
