CYPRESS, CA – Freshman midfielder Cynthia Iniguez has earned Charger of the Week (Oct. 17-23) after leading the Chargers to an 8-0 win over Golden West College at home last Friday.

Iniguez scored one goal in the first half to give the Chargers a 2-0 lead three minutes into the game. In the second half she scored two goals to complete the hat-trick and extend the Chargers lead to 7-0. Iniguez has 5 goals and 2 assists on the season. The 8-0 result is the largest margin of victory for the Chargers since the 2011 season (W, 9-0 vs. Irvine Valley 9/30/11).

The Segerstrom High School alumna is the third member of the women's soccer team to receive Charger of the Week this season. The Chargers ten game unbeaten streak has propelled them to the second spot in the Orange Empire Conference standings.
