Jeana Magana begins her second season as a Lady Charger. Prior to her success so far at Cypress, Magana was a first team All Del Rio League player for Whittier High School. Magana was also named to the Whittier Daily News first team All-Area team and was also named the Whittier Daily News Player of the Year. Jeana topped off her stellar high school career by earning the MVP award for the Sargent's East-West All Star Game. Magana's parents are Frank and Rita Salcido and she has one sister named Monique. Her favorite memory as a player was when she hit a game winning three for her team to defeat Santa Ana by one point.
Favorite hobbies include listening to music and shooting hoops. Her favorite movie is "Juice", her favorite TV show is Criminal Minds and her favorite athlete is Kevin Durant. Jeana is a fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Jeana's plan after school is to transfer to a four year school to earn her Bachelors degree. Magana would also like to play basketball overseas.
