Beth Lyon returns to the 2013-14 Chargers team as a 5'10 Forward from St. Joseph High School. Lyon was named Jester of the year in 2011 and Defensive Player of the year for her high school team in 2010. Beth also earned three coach's awards from 2009-2011. Her parents are Jeff and Marianne Lyon and she has two sisters named Emily and Allison. Beth's greatest memory as a player was her first game back on the court after tearing her ACL.
Favorite hobbies include baking and watching movies. Her favorite movie is "Love and Basketball", favorite TV show is One Tree Hill and her favorite athlete is Blake Griffin. Beth also cheers for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Beth's goal after school is to become a certified athletic trainer.
