Victoria Castillo is currently in her second year with the Cypress College softball team as an assistant coach after having played for Cypress back in 2006. She was a member of the 2006 State Championship team and was the first player to hit a walk-off homerun in the State Finals. 

Castillo served as an assistant coach at Cerritos High School from 2011 to 2015 and helped the team win four Suburban League Championships and took them to the CIF Semifinal once. Prior to coaching at Cerrito High School, Castillo was an undergraduate assistant at her alma mater Hope International University. 

Prior to coaching, Castillo earned several accolades as a student athlete. Playing for St. Paul High School, Castillo was named three-time Del Rey League All Area Team (03-05), Del Rey League MVP (05), 2005 Whittier Rotary All Star Game MVP, 2004 Press Telegram Dream Team, and two-time All-CIF Selection (04-05). 

After attending Cypress College as a student, Castillo transferred to Hope International University for her undergraduate education. She later earned her Adapted Physical Education Specialist Credential at Cal State Long Beach. She is currently earning her Masters in Physical Education at Azusa Pacific University. 

Castillo is also the head leader of the Gale Club, a community-based social club for adults with disabilities.
