Lee Leads Chargers

RIVERSIDE, Calif. ---  Isaac Lee managed to score 29 points for the Cypress Chargers in the OEC Championships this weekend.  Unfortunately, the Chargers combined for only 73 points in the individual competitions and only ended up with 177 total points in their last place finish.

Lee took fourth place in the 3M Dive (89.25) and fifth place in the 5 Meter Dive (109.30) for the Cypress Chargers.

Mason Pauu scored 15 points for the Chargers when he scored a 112.80 in his fourth place finish in the 1 Meter Diving event.

Another notable finish was Jack Corrigan's 200 Yard Backstroke time. Corrigan took eighth place out of 14 swimmers in the 200Y Back and clocked a time of 2:17.99.  Corrigan's finish was good enough to give Cypress 11 more points towards their total score.

The Charger men defeated Santa Ana in the individual events, but they couldn't hang on vs. the Dons in the relay competitions.

Golden West took the OEC title, scoring 819 points over the three day competition.
