Garrett Spoon is the son of Kara and Joel Spoon and he joins the Cypress team as an incoming freshman from Cypress High School. He listed beating Yorba Linda and Kennedy at the league finals as his best accomplishment as a swimmer in high school. His most memorable moment came when he won the finals his senior year for the Empire League and ended up going on to CIF. Spoon also enjoys baseball and water polo and is currently an automotive major at Cypress College.
