Cypress College men's soccer freshman defender, Kian Aminloo earned his first Charger of the Week award for his performance during Imperial Valley last week.

Aminloo's defense contributed to the Chargers' shutout victory over Imperial Valley last Friday. His ability to organize the back line and his composure on the ball makes a huge impact on the field. Coach Cristian Rus said, "Aminloo showed a lot of leadership and positivity in his solid defense performance during last week's play." 

The Beckman high school alum has led his team to one of the best starts in program history with a 6-0-1 record. The Chargers are currently ranked No. 8 in the state, according to the most recent CCCSIA rankings.
