Freshman Matthew Rafter has earned Charger of the Week (Apr. 3-9) after leading the men's golf team to a 1st place finish at the Black Gold Golf Course (Par 72).

Rafter shot a three under par 69 and finished as the first place medalist as Cypress won their third invitational of the season. The win pulled the Chargers within 1-point of first place in the Orange Empire Conference with 5 matches left.

The Whittier Christian High School alumnus is the first member of the men's golf team to receive Charger of the Week this year.
