CHINO, Calif. --- Spencer Wilde (74) and Steven Canales (74) helped lead the charge for Cypress in their fifth place finish at El Prado GC this past week.
Wilde continues to play at the top of his game and currently sits in fifth place overall in the standings out of 43 OEC golfers this season.
The Chargers defeated Irvine Valley at El Prado by seven total strokes, but Cypress failed to defeat four other Orange Empire opponents.
Mark Reyes helped Orange Coast finish first on the day with their score of 361. Reyes led the Pirates and shot an impressive 69 on a par 72 course for OCC and placed second overall individually.
Canales currently sits in 15th place overall out of 43 OEC golfers for the Chargers while James Kim sits at 23rd spot.
The Chargers will look to improve on the season when they face more OEC opponents on Monday, March 10, at the Tijeras Creek Golf Course.
Cypress will look to tee-off at noon.
