RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- The Cypress Chargers Men's Golf team shot a 390 and finished 7th out of 13 teams at the Riverside Invitational on Monday afternoon.

James Kim shot a (75) and was only 3 over after 18 holes in his first tournament as a Charger. 

Steven Canales followed up right behind Kim with a (76), while Spencer Wilde rounded out the Chargers top scorers with a (77). 

Despite falling short against three other OEC schools, Cypress managed to defeat Saddleback and Irvine Valley at the Victoria CC.

"Although we had a dissapointing day, I know we can shoot better and I have great expectations for my team moving forward," said Cypress Coach Dana Bedard.

The Chargers will now prepare for the OEC Tee-Off Classic at the Los Serranos GC on February 10.  Tee-Off is set for 10:00 AM.
