Sophomore men's basketball standout, Isaac Stell, earned his first career Charger of the Week Award during Wednesday's practice. Stell is the first member of the men's basketball team to earn the award this season.

The sophomore point guard helped lead the Chargers to their first 2-0 start to begin a season since 2010. The Chargers began the week with a convincing 77-62 season opening victory at home over College of the Canyons, before dominating Grossmont on the road 53-33.

The Leuzinger High School alumnus averaged 13 points on 48% shooting from the floor and 56% from three-point range. Stell also averaged a team-high 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in the team's first two games this season.

Men's basketball will return to action at home on Wednesday, November 21 at 7:00 pm against Long Beach City College.
