CYPRESS, CA – Sophomore Andrew Quezada has earned Charger of the Week (Feb. 20-26) after leading the No. 4 Chargers past Long Beach City College. 

Quezada (4-0) was dominant in his fourth appearance of the season. He threw a complete game as he allowed just 1 run while scattering 5 hits over 9 innings. He also struck out 4 Vikings in the 2-1 victory. In 32 innings this season, Quezada has only allowed 1 earned run on 19 hits. He leads the team with 31 strikeouts and currently ranks first in the state with an ERA of 0.28.

Last year's Second Team All-OEC Selection is the second member of the baseball team to receive Charger of the Week this season
