CYPRESS, CA - Cypress men's soccer Angel Cristobal earns Charger of the Week for his performance against Moopark.
As the team came off of their first victory of the year against East Los Angeles College, Cypress hosted the Raiders at Ray Haas Field. After five consecutive strenuous road games, the Chargers were back on their home turf.
Cypress defeated Moorpark 1-0 to secure their second shutout victory in a row. In the ninth minute of the match, the Chargers scored an early goal off the foot of Cristobal.

Boosted Cypress to win first home game
The freshman winger found himself in the Raiders box to boot the ball into the back of the net for the game's only goal. Cristobal made his one shot on goal count as he added a second goal to his season statistics. His performance gave the Chargers a boost as the team is preparing for Orange Empire Conference play.
UP NEXT: Cypress will travel to Saddleback for their first conference matchup on Tuesday, September 26th. Kickoff will be at 3pm.
