CYPRESS, CA - Cypress women's volleyball Hailey Church earns Charger of the Week for her performance against Santiago Canyon.
For their first conference game of the season, the Chargers hosted the Hawks at Don Johnson Court. Cypress looked to bounce back after their first loss of the season from the team's trip to San Diego Mesa.
The Chargers claimed their first Orange Empire Conference victory as they swept Santiago Canyon on Friday, September 15th. Church was a key contributor to Cypress's success from the service line and as a setter for the offense.

The freshman setter helped the Chargers extend their home winning streak while capturing their first conference win of 2023. Cypress's sweep of Santiago Canyon was the squad's sixth of the year.
UP NEXT: Chargers women's volleyball will compete in their first road conference game against Irvine Valley on Wednesday, September 20th. The set will begin at 6pm.
