The veteran Cypress assistant is also the college’s associate athletic director starting with the Chargers in 1985. An All-America catcher at the University of San Diego, Pinkham specializes in working with the Charger backstops. Pinkham was a second round draft choice of the Toronto Blue Jays. He was inducted into both the Cypress College Athletics and California Community College Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame's in 2017. Pinkham lives in Yorba Linda with his wife Debi. They have four children: Kate, Stephanie, Brett, and Molly and four grandchildren: Olivia, Harper, Carter, and Amara.
