Cypress, CA- The Cypress Chargers (2-1) returned to Don Johnson Court on Wednesday night to host the Chaffey Panthers (0-3) for their first home match of the 2021 season. The Chargers took down the Panthers for the second time this season, 3-0.
Cypress took control early on taking the first set, 25-14. Freshman, Rachel Gonzales, shined for Cypress as she led the Chargers with 12 kills and 11 digs. Cypress kept their foot on the gas as they defeated Chaffey, 25-12 in the second set. Vanila Pulu-Suliafu, set the table for the Chargers and led the team with 23 assists and added three kills of her own. Sophomore, Alexis Flores, also reached double digits in kills with 10. The third set looked very similar to the second as the Chargers took the match with a 25-12 victory.
UP NEXT: The Chargers will be back home Friday night when they host El Camino at 6:00pm.
