Men's Water Polo Loses to Rustlers

CYPRESS, CA- Men's water polo (6-6, 0-3 OEC) lost against the Golden West Rustlers (14-1, 2-0 OEC), 18-5.

Cypress water polo held the defending state champions to an even draw at the start of the game, 2-2.

In the second quarter, the Rustlers gained momentum and led the Chargers by three at the end of the half (6-3).

The Chargers were desperate for a comeback in the third quarter as Nathan Napohaku skips the ball past the keeper to shorten the deficit to half (10-5). Unfortunately, that was the last goal for the Chargers as the Rustlers held Cypress scoreless in the final quarter, 18-5.
