HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA - Cypress women's beach volleyball went 2-0 at Golden West with a 4-1 victory over Fullerton and a sweep over the host team, 5-0.

The Cypress Chargers women's beach volleyball team secured a solid victory against Fullerton City College Hornets with a final score of 4-1. Despite an early setback in the first pair, where Rose Whitter and Kaelyn Arnold were defeated by Amelia Hahs and Angie Alvarado with set scores of 21-11 and 21-0, Cypress rallied back strongly in the remaining pairs.

In the second pair, Larissa Samano and Ashlyn Riddle of Cypress defeated Arianna Islas and Emily Finnegan of Fullerton City College with set scores of 21-17 and 21-14. The third pair, Hailey Church and Andrea Briseno, continued Cypress's momentum by defeating Sofia Chua and Kimmy Gonzales of Fullerton City College with set scores of 21-13 and 21-7.

Cypress also secured victories in the fourth pair, with Lauren Villar and Jessica Ferreira defeating Mariah Williams and Charity Wengu of Fullerton City College with set scores of 21-12 and 21-13. The fifth pair ended in a forfeit by Fullerton City College, giving Cypress the win.
