Falcons Fall Short in Non-Conference Clash Against Chargers

Cypress - In the second game of a two-game series, the Folsom Lake College Falcons faced off against the Cypress College Chargers in a non-conference matchup. Unfortunately for the Falcons, it was the Chargers who emerged victorious once again, clinching the series with a commanding 13-2 win.

The Chargers had already set the tone in the first game with a dramatic walk-off victory (16-15), and they continued their offensive onslaught in the second game. Folsom Lake fought hard but struggled to contain Cypress's potent lineup, ultimately succumbing to the Chargers' dominance on the field.

On the mound, the Falcons used a combination of pitchers to navigate through the game. Jake McKowen got the start but faced challenges, allowing five runs in two innings. The bullpen had its share of struggles as well, with Ryan Oakes, Gavin McLendon, Carter Henninger, and Kyle Bender each contributing on the mound.
