CYPRESS, CA - Charger baseball Robert Pitts Jr earns Charger of the Week for his outstanding performance against El Camino College and Cerro Coso College.
On February 14, the Chargers defeated the El Camino Warriors 6-5 in their second-season meeting. Pitts was 2 for 2, and ended the game with a leadoff home run, putting the Chargers to a walk-off victory. On February 16, the Chargers defeated the Cerro Coso Coyotes with a crushing victory of 24 to 6. Pitts showcased his consistency, reaching base multiple times and contributed to Cypress' offensive barrage to clinch the win.
