If you are an incoming student-athlete interested in joining the Cypress Charger family, please use the checklist below to begin the process.

Step 1:

• Apply for summer and/or fall term for Cypress College at https://home.cccapply.org/en/
• Expect a student ID number within 5 days or contact your coach

Step 2:

• Apply for Financial Aid by completing the FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa Cypress College School code 001193

Step 3: 

• Complete the “Promise Agreement” in MyGateway to receive free tuition
• Questions: chargerexperience@cypresscollege.edu

Step 4: 

• Step 4: Complete “Promise Grant” application in MyGateway to waive summer fees

Step 5:

• Step 5: Complete the Math and English guided self- placement. Login to MyGateway, go to “Cypress” tab, and select GSP.

Step 6: 

• Step 6: Complete application for EOPS at www.cypresscollege.edu/services/eops-care-calworks-guardian-scholars/

Step 7:

• Step 7: Attend summer counselor orientation to get priority registration and complete first semester schedule.
• Must meet with athletics counselor to complete a comprehensive student educational plan prior to Oct. 15 for Fall sport athletes and March 1 for Spring sport athletes.
