Cypress, CA- The Cypress women's water polo team finished the regular season with a 14-8 overall record and a 2-5 record in the Orange Empire Conference, which landed them a fourth place finish in the OEC standings. During the annual OEC coaches meeting, two Chargers were selected to the All-Conference teams for the 2018 season.

Selected to the All-OEC first team was sophomore center, Natasha Velez. Velez played in 21 games for the Chargers this season, starting in 20. Velez had a total of 77 goals and 14 assists. Teammate and fellow sophomore, Josie Miller, a utility player for the Chargers, was selected to the All-OEC second team. Miller played in 21 games for the Chargers this season scoring 60 goals with 13 assists.

The Chargers were awarded a top 10 ranking this season, which was a first in the history of women's water polo here at Cypress and for the first time in twenty-five plus years, a playoff win.
