CYPRESS, CA - The Cypress Chargers (15-6-2, 8-4-2 OEC) fell short to the Golden West Rustlers (14-4-6, 5-4-5 OEC) 1-0 in the 3rd round of the 3C2A Regionals on Tuesday afternoon.
Cypress controlled the tempo from start to finish. The Chargers' attack generated constant pressure, unleashing 14 second-half shots. Cypress created multiple high-quality chances, highlighted by standout efforts from Jasmin De La Torre (4 shots, 3 on goal), Jessica Rosalino Vicente (3 shots, all on target), and Naomi Lee (3 shots, 3 on goal).
Cypress closed the match with a 17–3 shot advantage and a 3–2 edge in corner kicks.
The Chargers ended the 2025 season with 15 wins, 6 losses, and 2 draws overall. They finished 4th in the OEC. Cypress saw 4 players earn All-OEC recognition. Jasmin De La Torre and Alexa Green were named to the All-OEC First Team. Alisa Kangas and Naomi Lee were named to the All-OEC Second Team.
Lee was 3rd in the entire conference in the assists category (11). She was also 13th in points accumulated (15). De La Torre and Luna Khazem were both tied for 15th in points accumulated (14) for the whole OEC.
