Sophomore women's basketball standout, Nicole Miller, earned her first career Charger of the Week Award during Thursday's practice. Miller is the second member of the women's basketball team to earn the award this season.

The Rosary Academy alumna helped lead the Chargers to a 2-0 start in Orange Empire Conference play last week. The Chargers began the week with an 89-63 victory over Saddleback, followed by a 69-57 road win over Riverside City College.

Miller posted career-highs in points and rebounds in the OEC opener against the Gauchos. She poured in 20 points on 10-of-12 shooting and snatched 20 rebounds in the victory. The sophomore center followed up the performance with 5 rebounds and 2 steals, while being a defensive presence in the paint against the Tigers.

Miller is averaging 6.8 points per game and is the team's leading rebounder, averaging 7.7 boards per game, off the bench this season.
