  • Kian Aminloo and Alfonso Montano Sign NLI
    April 27, 2022
    Cypress men's soccer captain, Kian Aminloo, and Chargers leading goal scorer, Alfonso Montano, sign to continue their education and soccer career at the next level. Kian will be attending Cal State San Marcos while Alfonso will play at Concordia University. 
  • Chargers Come Up Short at #1 Mt. SAC in Round 1 of SoCal Regionals

    Cypress men's soccer (9-7-5) watched their season come to a close on Saturday (11/20) when they were defeated by #1 Mt. SAC (15-2-2). The Chargers were able to sneak into the playoffs as the #16 seed, but they were knocked out in the first round of the CCCAA SoCal Regional playoffs for the second consecutive year. 
  • Five Men's Soccer Players Selected to All-Conference Team

    The Orange Empire Conference has released the 2021 All-Conference teams for men’s soccer. Cypress has five representatives with Kian Aminloo, Nomar Ibarra and Alfonso Montano being named to the first team and Kyle O’Brien and Julio Perez on the second team.
  • Chargers Travel to Mt. SAC for Round One of the CCCAA Playoffs

    The Cypress men's soccer team (5-4-3, 9-6-5) have advanced to the CCCAA playoffs for the second time in two seasons under Head Coach Cristian Rus. The #16 Chargers will travel to #1 Mt. San Antonio on Saturday November 20th for the first round of the CCCAA Regional Playoffs. 
  • Chargers Upset Hornets, 1-0

    CYPRESS, CA - The Cypress Men's Soccer team (9-6-5, 5-4-3 OEC) hosted the Fullerton Hornets () in a must-win game on Friday afternoon. The Chargers were able to come up with a huge 1-0 victory over the Hornets to keep their playoff chances alive. The CCCAA will configure the final rankings over the weekend and determine the bracket for the 2021 playoffs. 
  • Chargers Fight Back From 2-0 Deficit, Tie Santa Ana 2-2

    The Cypress men’s soccer team (8-6-4, 4-4-2 OEC) hosted Santa Ana College (8-4-6, 5-1-4 OEC) on Friday afternoon. The Chargers came back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the Dons 2-2.  
  • Chargers Bounce Back with 2-0 Win Over Orange Coast

    The Cypress Chargers (6-3-2, 2-1 OEC) host the Orange Coast Pirates (4-4-2, 0-2-1 OEC) in their third conference game of the season on Friday afternoon.
  • Chargers Fall in Hard Fought Battle Against Golden West, 4-2

    The Cypress men’s soccer team (5-3-2, 1-1 OEC) took on Golden West College (6-1-3, 2-0 OEC) this afternoon in their second OEC match up of the season, losing 4-2.
  • Cypress Falls Short to Moorpark, 2-0

    Cypress Chargers men's soccer team (4-2-2) hosted the Moorpark Raiders (4-3-1) on Friday afternoon. The Chargers fought hard but fell short to the Raiders, 2-0.
  • Chargers End In A Draw, 3-3

    - The Cypress Chargers (3-1-1) compete in a close back and forth battle against San Bernardino Valley (1-3-2). The Chargers were held to a 3-3 draw.
  • Men's Soccer Runs Away with Season Opener, 3-1

    The Cypress Chargers (1-0-0) opened up their season against San Diego Mesa (0-1-0) on Friday afternoon. Cypress kicked off their season with a 3-1 victory over the Olympians.
