Chargers Score Big, Beat Grossmont 13-7

Cypress, CA- The Cypress College baseball team (5-2) hosted the Grossmont Griffins (3-2) on Tuesday afternoon. The Chargers used the long ball to beat the Griffins 13-7.

After trading double plays in the first inning, both teams got the scoring started in the second. Grossmont had scored one run and was threatening with men on second and third. In the bottom of the fifth Cypress kept the scoring going with another homerun, this one hit to left center by Spencer Serven.
