  • 9 Cypress Baseball Players Transfer to Four-Year Universities; 7 to NCAA Division I Schools

    The Cypress College baseball program has seen over 360 student-athletes move on to play at four-year universities in its storied history. In the face of shortened season the Chargers are continuing the tradition of moving players on to the next level under fourth year Head Coach Anthony Hutting. Cypress is sending 9 members of the baseball team on to play at four-year schools next season, 7 of which will play for NCAA Division I programs.
  • Chargers Walk It Off Against Saddleback, 2-1

    The Cypress College baseball team opened up a three game series vs. the Saddleback Gauchos on Monday afternoon. The Chargers (17-2-1, 4-0 OEC) won in walk off fashion over Saddleback (15-5, 2-2 OEC) 2-1. 
  • Coach Anthony Hutting Earns His 100th Win

    The Cypress College baseball team (16-2-1, 3-0 OEC) began OEC play this week against the Fullerton Hornets (5-12-1, 0-3 OEC). The Chargers swept the Hornets in the three game series with today's win on the road at Fullerton. Coach Anthony Hutting earned his 100th win in dominant fashion with a 12-1 victory.

    The Cypress College baseball team opened up OEC play this week with a three game series against Fullerton College. The Chargers scored 16 runs in their first match up Tuesday and followed with a 14 run performance in today's 14-3 victory.
  • Chargers Keep It Rolling, Defeat Citrus 5-1

    Cypress College baseball hosted the Citrus Owls on Wednesday afternoon. The Chargers pitched a phenomenal game and came out victorious, 5-1.
  • Chargers Push Streak to 5, Beat Lancers 8-1

    Cypress college baseball (9-2) hosted the Pasadena City Lancers (5-6) on Thursday afternoon. The Chargers took control of the game early and beat the Lancers, 8-1. 
  • Chargers Run Through Mt. SAC, 15-5, & L.A. Pierce, 22-6
    February 10, 2020
    Cypress college baseball (7-2) hosted Mt. Sac (7-1) and L.A. Pierce (3-2) this weekend and the bats stayed hot to say the least. Cypress took care of the undefeated Mt. Sac Mounties, 15-5, on Friday and crushed L.A. Pierce, 22-6, on Saturday afternoon. 
  • Chargers Score Big, Beat Grossmont 13-7

    The Cypress College baseball team (5-2) hosted the Grossmont Griffins (3-2) on Tuesday afternoon. The Chargers used the long ball to beat the Griffins 13-7.

    Cypress, CA- Charger baseball gets back on top with a win over El Camino, 6-1. The Chargers go to (2-1) on the season and the Warriors fall to (1-2).
  • Chargers start (1-1) to open the 2020 season

    Cypresss, CA- Baseball split opening weekend with an 8-4 win over Chaffey (0-1) on Friday, followed by a 4-1 loss to Long Beach (1-0) on Saturday.
