9 Cypress Baseball Players Transfer to Four-Year Universities; 7 to NCAA Division I SchoolsAugust 17, 2020The Cypress College baseball program has seen over 360 student-athletes move on to play at four-year universities in its storied history. In the face of shortened season the Chargers are continuing the tradition of moving players on to the next level under fourth year Head Coach Anthony Hutting. Cypress is sending 9 members of the baseball team on to play at four-year schools next season, 7 of which will play for NCAA Division I programs.

Chargers Walk It Off Against Saddleback, 2-1March 09, 2020The Cypress College baseball team opened up a three game series vs. the Saddleback Gauchos on Monday afternoon. The Chargers (17-2-1, 4-0 OEC) won in walk off fashion over Saddleback (15-5, 2-2 OEC) 2-1.

Coach Anthony Hutting Earns His 100th WinMarch 07, 2020The Cypress College baseball team (16-2-1, 3-0 OEC) began OEC play this week against the Fullerton Hornets (5-12-1, 0-3 OEC). The Chargers swept the Hornets in the three game series with today's win on the road at Fullerton. Coach Anthony Hutting earned his 100th win in dominant fashion with a 12-1 victory.

Chargers Put Up Double Digits, Take Down Fullerton 14-3March 05, 2020The Cypress College baseball team opened up OEC play this week with a three game series against Fullerton College. The Chargers scored 16 runs in their first match up Tuesday and followed with a 14 run performance in today's 14-3 victory.

Pierce (3-2) this weekend and the bats stayed hot to say the least. Cypress took care of the undefeated Mt. Sac Mounties, 15-5, on Friday and crushed L.A. Pierce, 22-6, on Saturday afternoon.
