Esperanza High School- 2 year letter varsity in baseball, and 3 year letter varsity in football. Earned league MVP 2x in football in 1x in baseball. Batted .453 while achieving the Dean's honor roll list.

Bio: Hayden is from Yorba Linda, CA where he is the son to Jon and Shelly, and a brother to Jon-Paul and Lexy. He enjoys photography and working out in his free time. He is a social and behavioral sciences major, with plans to becomes a firefighter after college.

9 Cypress Baseball Players Transfer to Four-Year Universities; 7 to NCAA Division I Schools

The Cypress College baseball program has seen over 360 student-athletes move on to play at four-year universities in its storied history. In the face of shortened season the Chargers are continuing the tradition of moving players on to the next level under fourth year Head Coach Anthony Hutting. Cypress is sending 9 members of the baseball team on to play at four-year schools next season, 7 of which will play for NCAA Division I programs.

Chargers Walk It Off Against Saddleback, 2-1

The Cypress College baseball team opened up a three game series vs. the Saddleback Gauchos on Monday afternoon. The Chargers (17-2-1, 4-0 OEC) won in walk off fashion over Saddleback (15-5, 2-2 OEC) 2-1.

Chargers Run Through Mt. SAC, 15-5, & L.A. Pierce, 22-6

Cypress college baseball (7-2) hosted Mt. Sac (7-1) and L.A. Pierce (3-2) this weekend and the bats stayed hot to say the least. Cypress took care of the undefeated Mt. Sac Mounties, 15-5, on Friday and crushed L.A. Pierce, 22-6, on Saturday afternoon.

The Cypress College baseball team (5-2) hosted the Grossmont Griffins (3-2) on Tuesday afternoon. The Chargers used the long ball to beat the Griffins 13-7.
