Cypress built a 37-18 halftime lead on Friday afternoon on the way to a 75-42 men's basketball win over SBCC at the Monterey Bay Classic.
Mike Magee led the Chargers (4-2) with 18 points.
Zeke McMurtry topped the Vaqueros (1-5) with 12 points and nine rebounds.
Cypress shot 44.1% and held Santa Barbara to 19.1% as the Vaqueros made just 9-of-47. The Chargers also dominated the backboards, 54-33.
SBCC will play Alameda in the seventh-place game on Saturday at 11 a.m.
