Fullerton took their second loss of the season on the road Friday against cross-town rival Cypress 3-0.
Cypress got on the board early scoring in the 8th minute on a goal by Morgan Patea. The Chargers went up 2-0 in the 27th minute on a shot by Raquel Gonzalez, and then scored again in the 55th minute on a goal by Elena Lucero.
The Hornets had a hard time against the Charger defense only getting 2 shots on goal for the day.
Up Next: FC (5-2-1 overall, 2-1-1 OEC) will try and pick it back up on Friday, September 28th when they host Norco College at 3:00 pm.
