Bobcats drain the Chargers

The Saddleback men's water polo team won its eighth straight game on Wednesday with a 19-8 victory at Cypress College.  Alec Isaacman and Donald Robertson both scored seven goals in the win.

Isaacman (pictured) was on fire in the opening half, scoring four times in the opening quarter and five times in the first 10 minutes.  Saddleback gave up the opening goal of the game in the first minute of play before rattling off seven straight goals to take a 7-1 lead.  Isaacman tallied the first two as the Bobcats took a 2-1 lead and never looked back.

Robertson had another big game, scoring five times over a 14-minute span in the second and third quarters.  He now has 64 goals on the season, which is the third highest total and ranks him No. 1 in the state in goals-per-game.

Chase Campbell was another that got involved in the scoring fest.  Campbell had his second highest scoring total of the season with three goals in the contest.

Saddleback is now 11-1 overall and 3-0 in Orange Empire Conference play for the season.  The Bobcats will be back in the water next Wednesday at Fullerton College (4:00 PM).
