The Long Beach City College Vikings battled with the Cypress College Chargers for four sets, but fell 1-3. The Vikings blasted onto the court in the first set with the 27-25 win, but ultimately could not hold on.

Outside hitter Danika Iosua led the team with 18 kills and had a .237 kill percent. Setter Arianna Ortiz was all over the court as she totaled 21 assists for the Vikings and had five digs. Opposite Kaitlin Noel also performed as she totaled three aces and had four blocks for the Vikings.
