CYPRESS, CA - Cypress men's basketball forward, Hadi Essayli, earns Charger of the Week for his leadership during last week's performance against the Grossmont Griffins.
Cypress men's basketball found themselves in a high scoring affair in the season opener at home. The Chargers won 97-81 with the offense being shared equally amongst the team and an explosion in the second half pushing them to their first win of the season.
Essayli contributed greatly in the win with a team leading 22 rebounds to maintain possession throughout the game. The sophomore had 2 assists, 5 blocks and 12 points
