CURRENT HALL OF FAMERS
The Cypress College Athletics Department is accepting nominations for the 2019 Athletics Hall of Fame Class. Categories for nominations include student athlete, coach or administrator, and supporter. Nominations will be accepted via the online nomination form from October 1st – October 31st.
Cypress College unveiled their athletics hall of fame display in May, 2017 during the campus's 50th anniversary event. Athletics celebrated its inaugural hall of fame induction event with over 200 in attendance (VIDEO).
The second ever induction event will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The event will include breakfast and an induction program. Cypress College baseball is scheduled to take on Irvine Valley College (1:00 pm), while softball takes on Mt. SAC and Citrus College in a double-header (1:00/3:00 pm), following the program.
Criteria for Hall of Fame consideration, as well as information regarding the selection process, can be found HERE. Please note that if your nominee does not fit the criteria, or you do not fully complete your submission, your nomination will be void.
