Cypress, CA – The Cypress women's water polo team finished with a 12-9 record, earning them 4th place in the OEC standings. During the annual OEC coaches meeting, two Chargers were selected to the All-Conference teams for the 2019 season.
Cypress' Morgan Steiwig received All-Orange Empire Conference First Team honors and Marlenne Ortega was selected to the All-OEC Second Team.

Goalie Morgan Stiewig was dominant in the net this season saving over 50% of shots in her freshman season. Stiewig finished second in goals against in the OEC and had two shutouts this season.
Freshman Marlenne Ortega led the offense for the Charger's this season. She scored 45 goals in 19 games this season. The Segerstrom high school alumna played wing for Cypress this season and had a season high 7 goals in a win over Ventura earlier this season.
