Sophomore women's water polo standout, Josie Miller, earned her first career Charger of the Week Award during Thursday's practice. The women's water polo team is the first this season to earn the award in back-to-back weeks.

Miller dominated during the Chargers' four-game run in the San Diego Tournament this past weekend. The Chargers finished 4-0 in the tournament. The Newport Harbor High School alumna notched 17 goals, 4 steals, and 2 assists in the four-game span. Millers' best performance came in the final game of the tournament against San Diego Mesa, where she netted 5 goals and grabbed 3 steals.

Women's water polo is currently 8-3 overall and 1-2 in Orange Empire Conference play. Miller ranks fourth in the OEC in goals and steals.
